Landscape Slide on iOS8

Depending on device landscape orientation the content slides the wrong way, covering the menu.

To recreate:

• rotate device clockwise (tip the top to the right), this is the only orientation that has the issue.
• hit the menu button at the top-left of the screen

Further notes:

• at 200 pixels the menu can't even be seen
• if you pull down on the menu it's self you can see some of the menu items but as soon as you release the menu springs back to neutral position

Otherwise this code is great! If someone can't get to this in the next few days I may actually tackle it myself.

That was in the simulator.

4s on xcode6 b4 (iOS 8) - if this is a problem you’ve already fixed on the device than it might just be a simulator issue.

I think this might be an iOS8 specific issue.
Will verify and fix if that's the case

I’ve dealt with issues like this before regarding the simulator. If it’s an iOS 8 issue I’ll likely need to address it before the release in which case I’ll submit everything to your github project.

This is in fact an iOS8 bug.
In older versions the rootViewController would rotate inside the window as the result of rotations. In iOS8 the main window itself rotates, which makes things a lot simpler, but lots of version checking code unfortunately due to the changes.
