Description
Latvian personal codes ('personas kods') issued after 2017 start with '32'.
From 1 July 2017, Personal Codes are issued without indication to date of birth.[56] Personal code starts with digits "32" to distinguish new and old format.

Also from 1 July 2017 onwards, a person can request one free change of their personal identification number if it includes their birthdate.
