Add metadata and circular consistency tests#12
Conversation
This commit introduces comprehensive tests for the `caseConfig` metadata
and ensures circular consistency for formatted strings.
- Added `metadata_test.go` with:
- `TestOptionMetadata`: Verifies that `Option` functions correctly
modify the internal `caseConfig` state, covering various combinations
and edge cases.
- `TestCircularConsistency`: Verifies that splitting a formatted string
and re-formatting it with the same options results in the original
string (idempotency/circularity).
- `TestInternalFlagsConsistency`: Verifies implicit flag interactions.
This addresses the need for substantial metadata testing and circular
consistency checks in an idiomatic Go test loop.
