Where do the AI models in ArmorLab come from? #1817
-
Hi! I've bought a binary release of Armor Paint + Armor Lab to try it out and support development. I have a question about the AI models that come with ArmorLab - are these created "in-house" on properly licensed inputs or are they sourced elsewhere and might be derived from photos or other materials made by people who didn't consent fro their work to be used for generative and transformative AI models? I am excited to see the tech, especially in an open-source application like ArmorLab, but I do have ethical concerns about the models and the way they were made. |

Hi, Time indeed flies (happy new year), but I am still alive to give answer. For models which I am not able to create myself see Thanks for your support. |

Hi,
Time indeed flies (happy new year), but I am still alive to give answer. For models which I am not able to create myself see
ArmorLab/data/models/LICENSE.txt
file or https://github.com/armory3d/armorai/blob/main/LICENSE.txt. All remaining models are created "in-house" with https://github.com/armory3d/armorai. Maybe I can add some dialog box into armorlab showing the details of each model / let the user pick which models to download. Thanks for your support.
