re-added `rc0` suffix (after fixing master merge)
reinstating what was done in PR #267 (had to revert that one due to fixing master to develop sync issue).
preparing for uplifting pyeapi in EOS
fixed all failing unit-test and system tests
updated entry for `release-notes-1.0.2.rst`

fixing a documentation error (sphinx build error)
