Hello, I'm pretty sure this issue has to do with the combination of Docker use and trying to get Moltres to use the Docker moose installation. Our repo has a bot that updates the MOOSE submodule every two weeks and CI testing to check whether Moltres builds with it. I have limited experience with Docker so I can't help much on that front.

My thoughts on this are:

  1. I don't know where the MOOSE directory should be in the moose docker image. Ideally you can set $MOOSE_DIR and compile Moltres.
  2. If you're trying to compile MOOSE without conda, you need to follow the instructions in https://mooseframework.inl.gov/getting_started/installation/manual_installation_gcc.html because you'll be missing…
