Does JWT Auth support @auth directives?

Hello, I have a question related to the JWT Auth, docs here

1. Assuming we have a JWT setup using useJWTAuth fn, does it secure every request or only the ones with @auth directive?
2. If not, can we achieve this behaviour using Generic Auth? Is there any example for it?
3. Side question, the docs with the /v1 url (the ones I linked above), are they old? I cannot find them on the webpage unless I google it. For example the JWT authentication is not even on the official docs, only Auth0 is there.

/v1 docs belong to the upcoming Mesh version. And /docs belong to the legacy/old Mesh.
About Federation directives, we will introduce directives support with or without JWT.

if I may ask, when do you think the new version will be out? We're in the search of a graphql router for our product and want to know if we can wait until these features are released.

The final release of v1 will be out until September. But you can start using it right now. I don't think there will be big changes in the meanwhile.
