Summary

Add possibility to update value in "name app" or "extra field for it" without open the app.
What we want to achieve 👇

Why should this be worked on?

A case:
The person responsible for approving reviews/users/etc doesn't have to open the app to see how many new reviews/users/etc have appeared.

1. A GitHub notifications style dashboard where you can notify users of all pending reviews/approvals across all the apps.
2. A badge for each app to show the pending approvals/reviews on that app.

What would make better sense in your use case?

The second one I think is better in our case.

Got it - @VovaChampion. Can you share a little more about your use case, what app are you trying to build, what notifications does it generate? (helps us get a better idea)

It's not notifications and it doesn't generate it:)

So idea is a user (admin) has access to Appsmith with several apps there (on dashboard).
For ex, in app "Review" user must approve or decline reviews. So there is a list of reviews with possibility to read/filter/approve/decline etc.
This "badge" with number of new pending reviews will allow the user to not even open the app Review if there is 0 or "nothing to see".

Like if you have several such apps that you need to control/handle it, it's very convenient to know which app you should check (because "badge" shows some number or "10 new pending reviews") and which shouldn't (because "badge" shows zero/nothing).

So some kind of fetch "number of pending review" must be run on dashboard of all apps probably, if it possible :)

Got it, thanks for the details. How are you building these reviews at the moment? Are you using Approval Workflows in Appsmith to assign reviews or are you building them another way?
