Description

1. Environment Details

Attribute Details
App Version (Neutrinote) v4.6.0a
Device / Emulator Physical device running HyperOS 3
Android Version (API Level) Android 16 (API 36) — HyperOS 3
Reproducibility 100%

2. Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Neutrinote application to the main list view.
  2. Tap the Search icon to open the search input box.
  3. Confirm that the search input field is visible and active.
  4. Rotate the device screen (e.g., from Portrait to Landscape or vice versa).

3. Expected Behavior
The search input field should remain open after rotation. The cursor/focus should stay active, and any entered query (if applicable) should be preserved, allowing the user to continue typing or viewing search results seamlessly.

4. Actual Behavior
After screen rotation completes, the search input field disappears entirely. The UI reverts to the pre-search state (i.e., as if the search icon was never tapped). The user must tap the search icon again to re-enter search mode.
