[Request]: Build command should include -pull option

When I am building some of the images, I want to ensure to use the latest source image. In case of docker build it provides --pull flag, that will tell builder to pull a newer image, if it is available.

Hello, I know I have opened a few issues. But I just want to point out that, that I really love the project. I was able successfully replace Docker for Mac with "container". The main reason for that, because I do love UNIX philosophy of one tool should do one thing well. Docker for Mac lately became more like a LLM runner, than a container runtime. They need to survive, I understand, but just got annoyed by weekly updates of the features that I don't care about.

Anyway, this project rocks! Really hope to see v1 in near future!

Can you confirm that you are not seeing an updated base image when building with the latest tag? I would expect this to be supported already, so just want to verify what the behavior is.

@katiewasnothere yeah, it seems like default behavior is to "pull" new images automatically. But then I tried simple test, if I already have base image and turn off wifi/internet - the builder is getting stuck on "fetching" step.

I believe docker behavior is to use image that is already cached, and only if --pull is specified - try to pull a new image before. Obviously we don't expect 1:1 command mapping, but maybe we should have --pull=false command. Or better not to pull images, unless it does not exist in the cache or --pull option specified.
