Facing a problem in iOS

Dear Sir,

Thank you for providing "Mandali" font.

Iam applying "Mandali" font for telugu text in my iOS application.
Telugu text is getting displayed beautifully and correctly for almost all cases. But in few cases, telugu text is getting displayed in a wrong way.

For example the text "బిట్స్‌లో" is getting displayed in a wrong way, image below.

The unicode text for the above example is : "\u0c2c\u0c3f\u0c1f\u0c4d\u0c38\u0c4d\u200c\u0c32\u0c4b"

This is happening only when I apply "Mandali" font. Applying iOS's default font displays text correctly. Could you please fix this.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. The reason for that.. Apple is using it’s own opentype tables for unicode fonts and Windows is using different tables. Few tables are common. You need to use a font customised for Apple.

Thanks for filing this issue. I hope that the AAT tables can be developed for all libre Indian fonts this year :)
