During the upcoming release of ATC 8.0.0, plan is to remove APIv3 and its dependency.

This Improvement request (usability, performance, tech debt, etc.) affects these Traffic Control components:

  • Automation ( Ansible Roles)

Current behavior:

Ansible playbooks if using the deprecated version 3 (after ATC release 8.0.0) of the Traffic Ops API

New behavior:

Ansible roles should use the stable version 3 of the Traffic Ops API (4.0, specifically)
