UI: sliders for CPU and memory specificartions of VMs

Good afternoon, if you create a Service Offering with Custom constrained or Custom unconstrained, where you specified CPU and Memory limits. For example, in Custom constrained I specified minCPU:1 and MaxCPU:40. I created a user user1, where I set CPU limit:7 for him.
It would be nice when the user selects Service offering - he could only choose between 1 and the specified limit (CPU limit). It would be nice if he moves the slider he could only choose a value between 1 and user CPU Limit.
Is it possible ?

@happyalexkg , I have no idea how complicated such an improvement is, but it certainly is a good request.

To implement this, we will have to fetch the current user's account and check it's limits. We will have to make an additional request every time we want to launch or scale an instance or scale.

It's also possible that the domain has lower limits than the account, in which case the request might fail again. And when we get the domain's limits, it doesn't check parent domain's limit which can be lower than the current domain's limit.

Another edge case I can think of is that the instance is being deployed in another account. In which case, we will need to fetch limits for that account.

This is doable but there might be some other edge cases that we might miss. This needs more discussion and figuring out all the edge cases before we implement this. Otherwise we might break existing behavior for a user.

We are already checking for offering's max and min values. IMO, this is not worth the effort and the hassle.
