Onn gaming keybo And mouse software

I downloaded the Onn gaming software onn2.tech and when I opened it the software said device not detected and I tried unplugging and replugging it in but that didn’t work. Can someone help.

The sketchy software from onn2.tech didn't work, and your first thought was to ask for help for people who wrote completely different software that never ran on the kb/mouse to begin with? If the Walmart/Onn mouse or software failed, complain to Walmart/Onn. But you can't, because they don't know, and don't care. I've also bought a Walmart Onn branded keyboard and mouse combination, so I understand the frustration. :-)

The hardware works adequately for me, but from online product review comments, the quality control is poor and many devices fail at the hardware level new out of the box or within the first few months. The OEM software (old: Onn Setup20240521V1.0.0.8.13.exe and new:
Onn_Setup20250704V1.0.1.0.03.exe) works, but has some moderate (old version forgets settings) to severe (new version uses 100% of a CPU core/thread) bugs. OpenRGB does not support this hardware, doesn't seem to have any plan to support it, but if someone does magically figure out how to support it, OpenRGB might be open to including support? I'm just a passer-by but that is my understanding of the situation.
