Hi @ashwin-ant it was working, i filled this bug report using /bug after forcing WSL to close(wasnt even responding to wsl --shutdown, i had to kill it with the taskmanager)
Ubuntu 24.04 is the version.
Im actuially making it "work" by ask claude code for something short and exiting, then if need something else, start claude again ask something short and exiting again. if run claude, and just left it there it hangs also
Not sure if this is related, but I had a situation where I didn't realize my Git in WSL wasn't auth'd correctly to GitHub, so if Claude tried to push/pull to origin, it'd wait while (like 80s) and then freeze up the entire terminal. Fixing git helped that particular issue, but I'm not sure why I couldn't just Esc out of the attempt or why it didn't time out on its own instead of freezing.

Was it ever working for you, or has it always been like this? What Linux distro are you running in WSL?

This should be fixed in more recent versions. Please open a new issue with repro if you're still hitting this.
