Windows: claude resume/continue freezes and conversations disappear

Bug Description

On Windows (native, not WSL), claude resume and claude continue commands cause the screen to freeze and resume conversations become inaccessible.

Environment

• OS: Windows (native terminal and VS Code integrated terminal)
• WSL: Works correctly in WSL - issue is Windows-specific

Steps to Reproduce

1. Run claude resume or claude continue on Windows
2. Observe the screen freezes
3. Resume conversations appear briefly then completely disappear
4. Unable to select or resume any previous conversations

Expected Behavior

• Resume conversations should remain visible and selectable
• claude resume and claude continue should work without freezing

Actual Behavior

• Screen freezes when attempting to resume
• Conversations show temporarily then are removed from the list
• Cannot interact with the resume interface at all
• Issue occurs in both:
  • Windows native terminal (CMD/PowerShell)
  • VS Code integrated terminal on Windows

Workaround

Using WSL instead of native Windows works correctly.

Additional Context

This appears to be a Windows-specific rendering or terminal interaction issue. The functionality works perfectly in WSL on the same machine.
