This is based on @sivel's excellent work via the GitHub GraphQL APIs. I've been using these two scripts for a while, but I'm putting it up as a PR so it can be checked.
@sivel, if you have a moment, comments are very welcome! Otherwise I'll merge next week, because these are working for me at the moment :)
