watchCollection not firing with dotted field name

Hi,

We experience an issue when using directive scope field containing a "dot" in the name, I mean the field is named for instance "dom.obj", i.e. obj is not a "dom" field. the actual property name contain a "."

BTW if I remove the "." in the name and at the watchCollection first parameter, (expression) it works

Is this scenario not supported?
