onEnqueuedNextState does not return a subscription

The TypeScript types for Agent.prototype.onEnqueuedNextState() define the method's return type as Subscription but at runtime I'm observing undefined instead. Is there no way to unsubscribe from enqueued next state events or is this a bug and a subscription can be made to be returned at runtime?
