Feature request: ability to shade blocks of time on the timeline

It would be great to be able to shade blocks of time on the timeline, e.g. to be able to mark x hours in the morning and evening in green as your target "work" hours, or mark out a block of x hours in the middle of the day where you want to take a break.

Visualising these blocks of time as shaded areas on the timeline would be great.
