Missing a link to the binary on the sdcard ?

vi: applet not found

This one is OK.

/tmp/sd/yi-hack-v5 # ./bin/vi

As mentioned here the workaround for now is to delete the symlink from the console

rm /bin/vi

It will call the SD version after this.
