Spotify Project at M&S Digital (Code: First Girls - RubySpring2018)

Project Introduction

This is a group project as part of the Code First: Girls Advanced Ruby Development Course (Spring 2018).

Motivation

The motivation for this project is to apply MVC technologies we have learnt to develop a website. Over the past 12-weeks, one evening a week, we attended sessions covering the following: Ruby programming, Sinatra, GET/POST requests, development concepts, automated emails using Mailgun, external APIs & deployments.

Tech/framework used

• This project utilises the Sinatra framework, application deployment on Heroku cloud hosting services
• Spotify API was utilised, along with the rspotify gem to query the data from the Spotify API endpoints.
