What problem would this solve?
Leica all-photon exports carry real tail photons past the nominal 12.5 ns pulse period (out to ~14 ns; 140+ bins). Leica recommends fitting the extended window, and in testing the extended-window fit gave a lower chi2 than cutting at ~12 ns.
Proposed solution
Let the user fit the full extended time window rather than truncating at the nominal pulse period, with correct handling of the wrap/tail region.
