Burp's active scans get stuck when ActiveScan++ enabled

It seem that activescan++ is breaking at some point during normal active scans triggered by burp.
Once the following payload is sent to an insertion point (JSON in this case) rnlmmt\u00ec\u00bd\u00bbp028v7 the scan will stop sending requests and hang.

My CPU usage them seems to go slightly insane. Which seems to be related, as restarting burp fixes the issue.

I have similar problems here, and it break and spike CPU just a few seconds after I restart burp. Currently unusable on my ongoing projects, on both Windows 10 and Debian 12.

Thanks for reporting this.

The issue should be resolved in PR #41. Apologies for any inconvenience it may have caused.

We’re currently working on an update for the BApp Store, but in the meantime, feel free to apply the patch manually if it’s urgent.
