How to:

  1. Draw the characters in any vector editor with the freehand tool and save them in SVG format. It is better to name your files meaningfully because it greatly simplifies uploading files to the editor. Add the prefix "UP_" to the names of images with uppercase letters. Here are some examples of correct naming of images: a.svg, a_1.svg, a_2.svg, a3.svg, UP_A.svg, UP_B_1.svg, UP_B_2.svg, ..svg, !.svg, colon.svg, less.svg.
  2. Put them all in any folder.
  3. Use the font editor to create a new font file in the same folder, where the SVG-files locates.
  4. Try to upload images automatically via font editor, or upload them, manually specifying which image belongs to which character.
  5. Set the points of connection with nearby letters, line height and character width.
  6. Go to preferences and set up the Scribbler's output as you want.
  7. Convert text to handwritten using your font. You can now save or print the result.

Shortcuts:

In the main window:

  • Ctrl + R - Convert to handwritten
  • Ctrl + P - Print
  • Ctrl + S - Save
  • Ctrl + → - Next Sheet
  • Ctrl + ← - Previous sheet

In the font editor:

  • Alt + 1 - Set the connection point with the previous letter
  • Alt + 2 - Set the connection point with the next letter
  • Alt + 3 - Set the row height and the width of the letter
