The purpose of this workshop is to provide tools for the average scientist to more effectively and effiicently analyse their data. This hands-on workshop will cover basic concepts of R and conducting generalized linear models in R. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems.
Who: The course is aimed at graduate students and other researchers. You don’t need to have any previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop.
Where: 88 Pond Road, York University. Room 2114 DB (TEL)
Requirements: Participants should bring a laptop with a Mac, Linux, or Windows operating sytem (not a tablet, Chromebook, etc.) that they have administrative privileges on. There are computers that are provided, but they do not all come with R loaded. You must have R studio installed either on your own computer or the one provided by 10 am.
