I've setup conventional commits on this repo to ensure some guidelines.
By following specific conventions when authoring commit messages you can leverage semantic-release to increment your package’s version, generate release notes.
Semantic-release relies on the Conventional Commits standard in order to work.
Note : It is important to squash commits in each PR, and to edit its label and description to follow conventional commits guidelines.
@Juknum, feel free to discuss about the goal and the relevance of this feature. I would at least recommend to follow theses guidelines on merge commit for each PR.
