ALPS 2up Image Block Not Respecting Aspect Ratio of Images When Resizing Browser

The ALPS 2up image block seems to be messing up the image aspect ratio at certain browser window widths. For an example, see this page: https://dev.telltheworld.adventist.org/en/making-tell-world/ - as you drag the browser window to different sizes, the images get stretched or squeezed.

We are also seeing this on most images that are scaled and it seems to be due to the the img rule:

img, video, object, svg, iframe {
    max-width: 100%;
    border: none;
}

Adding height: auto; to that rule seems to resolve the issue.
