Ideally, please provide a sample code snippet and describe where the highlighting is different from what you want.

I agree @mingzepeng. There is not much color differentiation between syntactic elements. And formatting/indentation is sometimes not helpful either. Since we are using the CodeMirror coffeescript mode, this has to be primarily fixed in that mode. Once the improvement lands in CodeMirror, we will pick up the improvement when we integrate a new CodeMirror version.

Here is a quick example (Brackets with dark theme) :

It would be nice to have a color for function parameters (purple with JS) and when calling a method (log should be in purple like with JS).
Of course it's a quick example, but with a huge CS file it really needs more different colors to improve readability.
