ViewCommandHandlers test fails (due to UpdateNotification test / file watchers?), causing many other tests to fail

View Command Handlers integration tests fails consistently causing a lot of other tests to fail.

I wasn't able to reproduce this on the Mac.

when running the failed tests individually they do not fail. this seems excessively higher than what it normally is.

Looks like this is finally the issue I and @redmunds (I talked with him about that once) were seeing for a while already. I remember seeing ViewCommandHandlers, WorkingSetView and EditorCommandHandlers failed.
Running those tests individually worked as well.

I can't reproduce it at all on my win 7. I only get one of the DocumentCommandHandlers tests failing consistently even if I delete Brackets cache. And later I tried launching Brackets shell from sprint 37 and all integration tests passed. So make sure it's not something from your Brackets cache or your private build of Brackets shell causing the issue.

Well, I am already using the Sprint 37 build (with hacking enabled, of course). And even with no cache folder, the tests are still failing.

@ingorichter - May you please take a look? Since the tests are not failing individually this seems to be a runtime issue, the concern is that the number of issues alike we observe is increasing...

Since I can't repro on Windows 7, I assume this is a Windows 8.x issue?

Seems odd that it would be specific to an OS version. I will try again and report back
