Hey there, Alan Di Giovanni here! πŸ‘‹

I’m a Software Engineer from Buenos Aires, Argentina, currently finishing my Web Development Technicature at UNLaM (Universidad Nacional de La Matanza).

At 34, I’m proud to be a dad to my amazing daughter, Hada πŸ‘§ β€” she’s my daily reminder of why I love creating things that matter.

I build software for the web, mobile, and beyond β€” always exploring how to design systems that are clean, scalable, and meaningful.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» About Me

  • Software Engineer with a full-stack background
  • Passionate about architecture, design patterns, and best practices
  • Always learning, improving, and sharing knowledge
  • Advocate of DDD, SOLID, testing, and clean architecture

🧰 Tech Stack

  • Languages: Java, Kotlin, Scala, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Frontend: React (JS, NextJS, React Native, Expo), Vue
  • Backend: Spring, NestJS, Express
  • Messaging/Data: Kafka, Redis
  • Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server

πŸ† Featured Project

I’m especially proud of Cuoco, my final project for the Web Development Technicature at UNLaM, built together with an amazing team. Cuoco showcases best practices such as Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles, comprehensive testing, and Clean Architecture.

More featured projects coming soon!

🎸🚲 Outside the code

Music is part of who I am. I always have my acoustic guitar nearby, and I love composing my own music. A lifelong dream is to own a Telecaster or a Stratocaster β€” and maybe finally get my bass back. Soon!

I also love cycling - I just wish I had more time to do it.
