Wishlist: Develop a native `plot()` function

Presently, plot() and plotRGB() are hacks. They write rasters/vectors to disk, then call terra's plot() or plotRGB(), whch is extremely slow. The d.mon opens a blank display, but d.rast and d.vect do not seem to "push" the image to the monitor.
