ANCS REPL Example Not Showing Up On IOS #213

I am using this example: https://learn.adafruit.com/ancs-gizmo/ancs-simple-demo
On an Unexpected Maker Pro S3 using CircuitPython 9.2.5.
When I run the code the monitor says:
"waiting for connection...
waiting for connection...
"
but it doesn't show up on my Mac or iPhone bluetooth devices.
