How to contribute edits to questions without losing review history?

Hey!

It seems that anki-panky bases the card's unique identifier on the exact wording of the question side:

See /app/Collection/Generate.hs#L34.

If I edit the questions in Markdown and regenerate, would the review history for these cards be lost? Do I understand correctly?

Can we never edit existing questions, only the answers? That would be quite a limitation.

Confirmed by the upstream: kamalsacranie/anki-panky#23 (comment):

Yes that is the case, the GUID is generated from the deck name and the front of the card (which is the title when just using the # syntax).
