Hi , we are planning to upgrade Maven to the most recent version in future releases after noticing that it is still at version 3.8.8 in the most recent Ubuntu image. Please kindly adhere to the temporary guidance provided by Gowri in the reference link below: actions/setup-java#685 note: removing the "feature" label as it is just a version update. |

To maintain compatibility with GitHub Actions that run Maven 3.8.8 by default, we need to downgrade to a plugin version before 1.8.0. See also: kordamp/pomchecker@8b8a94e See also: actions/runner-images#10715
