Potentially revert #2412 after upgrading past laravel/framework v11.34.2 #2415
Description
After upgrading to laravel/framework 11 we seem to be running into laravel/framework#53704 which has been fixed with laravel/framework#53585. However, this fix has yet to be included in a release, but will likely be part of the next one.
In the meantime #2412 was applied to workaround the issue, but should be reverted, if possible, after we've upgraded to the next version of laravel/framework.
