Accelist React Native Starter

TypeScript React Native CLI project starter template for PT. Accelist Lentera Indonesia.

This template targets Android and iOS with native projects (android/ and ios/). App source is TypeScript (.ts / .tsx). It does not use Expo.

Requirements

  • Node.js 22.13 or newer
  • JDK 17
  • Android Studio (Android SDK) to run on Android
  • macOS with Xcode and CocoaPods to run on iOS

Complete the React Native environment setup before the first build.

Getting Started

Download The Template as Zip File

Unzip and rename the folder to your actual project name.

Install dependencies:

npm ci

Start TypeScript and ESLint watchers (optional, useful in VS Code):

npm run dev

In a second terminal, start Metro:

npm start

Android

With an emulator running or a device connected:

npm run android

iOS

iOS builds require macOS. From the project root:

bundle install
bundle exec pod install --project-directory=ios
npm run ios

To show ESLint errors in Visual Studio Code, install the official ESLint extension.

Styling

Use Tailwind CSS utility classes via className (provided by NativeWind):

<View className="flex-1 items-center justify-center bg-white">
  <Text className="text-xl font-bold text-blue-500">Hello</Text>
</View>

Add new screen/component paths to tailwind.config.js. After changing NativeWind, Reanimated, or Babel config, rebuild the native app and start Metro with --reset-cache.
