The warning:
WARNING: Version of installed minimap2 differs from its version in the QUAST package (2.28).

And the following sentence does not make sense. What does this want to say? What is an actual version?
Please make sure that you use an actual version of software.

Hi, I believe I was able to solve the same problem you're having. By creating a new environment with these instructions:

mamba create -n quast -c bioconda quast=5.3.0 minimap2=2.24

According to the repo, this is the recommended version for minimap2.
