OpenID error: Missing OpenID session data

I can successfully sign in using the form on indieauth.com frontpage. However, when I'm trying to log in on an actual website supporting OpenID, after doing the verification I get "Missing OpenID session data" error. This issue started about half a year ago, and I was able to reproduce it on different websites.
