Failed to initialize Smart Segments: No module named 'numpy'

Running the script the second time (after ostensibly successful installation) raises this error:

Failed to initialize Smart Segments: No module named 'numpy'

I imagine it's an isolated dependency environment, but I don't know where or how. I do use mise for managing python installs and global shims, but that doesn't seem affected.
