(urgent) VirtueCharge now refuses to play at all

Describe the bug
self-explanatory. even vanilla sound won't play.

To Reproduce
no clue. tested with personal UST pack, several different edits to personal UST pack, different pack that includes the same sound change, entirely new pack that only contains the sound change, and now no UST packs at all.

okay it's persisting even with the mod disabled, nevermind it's clearly something else causing it
