This repository contains source code, instances, solutions and validator used in the paper Compatibility of short and long term objectives for dynamic patient admission scheduling. The work was done by Yi-Hang Zhu, Tulio A. M. Toffolo, Wim Vancroonenburg and Greet Vanden Berghe.
The dynamic patient admission scheduling problem was first introduced by Ceschia, S. and Schaerf, A., 2016. Dynamic patient admission scheduling with operating room constraints, flexible horizons, and patient delays. Journal of Scheduling, 19(4), pp.377-389. . Their experimental results are referred to https://bitbucket.org/satt/or-pas/.
All the instances are validated against the OrPasInstance.xsd XML schema and stored in the folders Instances and small_instances.
They are classified into 9 families with the following main features:
