Icon overlays are missing for some file types (adobe files)

✅ The icon overlay option is enabled.
And it does work for some files, SVG for example shows the browser icon.

But it doesn't show any overlay icons for adobe files such as (PSD / INDD / AI).
Even though it displays their thumbnail just fine.

It gets very difficult to find these files next to images.
would be great if you look into it. Thanks :)

The icon overlays are not handled by Icaros.
In fact, the "icon overlay" option in Icaros is just a shortcut to the Folder Options -> View -> Advanced settings option in File Explorer. Besides that, Icaros never touches icon overlays.

There are quite a few registry settings that can affect the icon overlays though, and it's not uncommon that applications make changes to them.

You could try the following registry file:

FixTypeOverlayMissing.reg.txt
Note: Remove '.txt' from the file after downloading.

It fixes one of the typical reasons why icons doesn't show up on files.
