A lightweight CLI tool and documentation website for quickly capturing and organizing ideas, prompts, todos, journal entries, and workflows in markdown format. Capture quick notes via a set of python CLI commands straight to a Docusaurus front end with mermaid support

To use scrap
from anywhere:
# Add to your shell profile (.bashrc, .zshrc, etc.)
export PATH="/path/to/scrapbook-md:$PATH"
# Now you can use scrap from any directory
scrap idea "Global idea" "This works from anywhere"
Start the documentation website to browse your entries:
cd website
npm install
npm start
Visit http://localhost:3000 to view your scrapbook.
For a containerized setup, use Docker Compose:
# Start the website in a container
docker compose up -d
# View logs
docker compose logs -f
# Stop the container
docker compose down
The website will be available at http://localhost:3000.
