The version badge and the test counts in this README had drifted behind what the
repo actually ships. Both are now measured rather than remembered.
The version badge follows the repo's own highest release tag, which is the
platform version at which it last changed. Every test count comes from resolving
the suite without executing it, so the numbers describe the tree in this commit.
README only; no code, config or test changes.
