Before I had used Kojima Toshiyasu's plugin, which was only compatible with wordpress 5 and earlier, and this plugin is much better.

Ideal for servers with few resources (the one I use is a raspberry pi board), where mysql consumes too many resources.

It's great for backup and restore on new devices too! I messed up my server recently and not having to reinstall mariadb and restore tables was really nice -- a <1min recovery!
