RNMobile: Android: Auto-Correction of First Word Causes Deletion in Verse or Preformatted Block #52887

Open

Description

Description

In the Android app, if the first word added to a new a Verse or Preformatted block is auto-corrected, it is unexpectedly deleted.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

  1. Navigate to the editor in the Android app.
  2. Add a new Verse or Preformatted block.
  3. Begin typing a misspelt word that you know will be auto-corrected e.g. "helo".
  4. Observe how the word is deleted.

Expected behaviour

I would expect autocorrect to fix the word's spelling, and for the word to remain in place.

Actual behaviour

The word is deleted from the block.
