Trigger. Remove the
starlight-image-zoomentry frompackageExtensionsinpnpm-workspace.yamlonce astarlight-image-zoomrelease declaresastroas a peer dependency.Why the entry exists.
starlight-image-zoomimportsastro/zodandastro/errorsat runtime (index.ts) but declares only@astrojs/starlightas a peer. With pnpm's hoisted fallback turned off (hoist: false, #581), those imports no longer resolve, and Astro can't load the docs config. ThepackageExtensionsentry adds the missingastropeer, so the plugin shares the docs site's ownastroinstance.State (measured 2026-10-07). The newest release, 0.16.0, still declares only the
@astrojs/starlightpeer. No upstream issue asks for theastropeer. The plugin's closed #21 ("Cannot find module 'astro/errors'") shows the same symptom but was closed without the peer being added. Reporting it upstream would let this entry go away.How to check. On a Dependabot bump of
starlight-image-zoom, read the new version'speerDependencies. Ifastrois there, delete the entry and runpnpm install,make check-docsandmake build-docs.Related: #581.
