I can't get rid of Iris from the server

Problem

Iris has corrupted 2 maps, specifically a separate map with a server spawn and one of the story maps. These maps never used iris. I used a void generator for these maps. After removing Iris, the maps cannot be opened using the minecraft client and the server. The tool https://github.com/HiveGamesOSS/Chunker generates a correct map preview, but unfortunately converting etc. does not help. Each time the map is loaded by the server, a regular world is generated, removing all the map content

Solution

If Iris stays on the server, the maps are loaded correctly. But that's not the solution to the problem.

1. please use paper or purpur as pufferfish is known to cause issues with Iris
2. you should be fine if you keep the datapack, nothing much we can do about that as rn we need to change the height of all overworld type dimensions due to how the spigot api and the Minecraft datapack system works

Leaving iris datapack didn't help. Iris shouldn't modify this world at all, I want to uninstall iris from the server at all and I have a problem because 2 most important maps can't be read without it. I would understand it if this world was generated by iris

hmm that makes things difficult and explains some miscommunications

basically we don't have a real choice about affecting the other worlds due to how minecraft and spigot manage the dimensions

I recently found a clue on how I can improve that but i wasn't able to properly investigate it until now

Polish, I just need information whether it can be fixed by removing iris or do I have to transfer the map content with worldedit to other maps (I would prefer to avoid this, quite a lot of work... NPCs, holograms, itemsadder).

It can't be fixed by removing Iris rather you need a datapack that has the same or higher world height than the one defined by Iris or just keep the existing one
It's also important that the datapack is in the folder of the main world

Actually, I've already checked it by accident... I installed Terralith and only then loaded the damaged maps (before they got damaged) using the My_worlds plugin, but in this case it didn't help.
