Angular 2 support

Is there a way for me to use this library inside an Angular 2 app ?

Would it be much work for us to convert it to be compatible with Angular 2 ?

Hi @johnkattenhorn.
I never checked this library inside an Angular 2 app. I have some ideas about supporting of Angular 2 but I have so muich time for that.
Generally I don't think it will be a hard work. You should redesign some service declarations and possibly listen another Angular events.
If you did the pull request it would be a big help for me and for the community.
